Lucy is a tribute band to hide of X JAPAN and solo (among other) fame. Its members are: Imai Hisashi of Buck-Tick, Kiyoshi of machine, and Okazaki Katsushige of Age of PUNK.

The band started (probably) in early 2003. Their first release, an album called Rockarollica, came out on June 9, 2004, and a short 12 date livehouse toured followed during the summer after that.
After tour final, which was at Cafe LE PSYENCE at the former hide museum in Yokosuka, the three members went back to their respective projects until October of 2005. At that time, they reunited for a 3 date mini-tour which began on October 21, 2005, also known as member Imai Hisashi's 40th birthday. The first two shows featured special guests who played along with Lucy: artist Wakusei was at the 10/21 concert, and Kiyoharu, of SADS and Kuroyume fame, was at the 10/29 live.
At long last on March 29, 2006, the band released a follow-up to Rockarollica: a single called BULLETS-Shooting Super Star-. This release was (semi-)closely followed by the release of a second album, creatively named Rockarollica II, on April 4, 2006. Following these releases was a longer, 20 date livehouse tour beginning on May 13, 2006 in Sapporo, ending on June 24 in Okinawa.
